Why HRV cannot be measured accurately during movement
HRV measures the tiny time gaps between your heartbeats. The band rating, Low, Normal, Good or Excellent, is calibrated to your own history rather than a population average.
Why overnight is the most reliable window
Of all the rest periods in a day, sleep produces the cleanest HRV data. Your body is completely still. There are no meals, stimulants or voluntary movements introducing noise into the signal.
