How to Set Up and Pair Your HLTH Band
Before you can start tracking, you'll need to pair your HLTH Band with the QWatch Pro app on your phone. It only takes about 5 minutes.
Before You Begin#
Make sure you have:#
-
Your HLTH Band, charged to at least 20% (see How to Charge Your Band if needed)
-
A smartphone running iOS 12 or later, or Android 6.0 or later, with Bluetooth 4.0 or above
-
Bluetooth turned on
-
The QWatch Pro app, free to download with no subscription, from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Samsung Galaxy Store
⚠️ Important: Don't pair your band through your phone's Bluetooth settings. It must be paired through the QWatch Pro app only. Pairing through Bluetooth settings stops the band connecting properly, and it may show as "connected" in your settings while the app still can't find it.
Step-by-Step Setup#
Step 1: Download the app
Search for "QWatch Pro" in your app store and install it, or scan the QR code in your User Manual.
Step 2: Create your HLTH account
Open the app and tap Sign Up to create an account with your email address and a password. If you already have an account, log in.
Step 3: Charge your band
Make sure your band has enough battery before pairing. We recommend charging it for 30 to 60 minutes the first time.
Step 4: Allow permissions
The app will ask for a few permissions. These are needed for pairing to work:
- Bluetooth: to find and connect to your band
- Location (Android only): Android needs this to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. HLTH doesn't use or store your location.
- Notifications: to show calls, messages and app alerts on your band
If you deny a permission by mistake, go to your phone's Settings > Apps > QWatch Pro > Permissions, turn it on, then restart the app.
Step 5: Start pairing
- First-time users: Follow the guided setup that appears after you log in.
- Adding a new band: Go to More > Profile & Settings > Paired Devices > Add New Device.
Step 6: Keep your band close
Hold your band within 30cm of your phone. A blinking green light means your band is ready to pair. The app will scan for nearby devices. Look for your band's name, which starts with "H59" (for example, H59-xxxxx), and tap it to connect.
Step 7: Wait for confirmation
The app will show a confirmation screen when pairing is complete, usually within 30 seconds. Don't close the app or move your band away before you see it, as this is one of the most common reasons pairing fails.

Common Pairing Issues#
Band doesn't appear in the scan list: Check that Bluetooth is on, Location permission is allowed (Android), and your band is within 30cm.
Pairing starts but fails partway: Turn Bluetooth off and back on, then try again through the app.
App says "connected" but no data syncs: Close QWatch Pro completely and reopen it. Also check that your phone meets the requirements above.
Band was paired to another phone: Remove it from the old phone's app first (Paired Devices > Remove). A band can only be paired to one account at a time.
Can't tell which device is yours: Make sure you're selecting the one starting with H59, not another nearby Bluetooth device.
Still stuck: Restart your phone. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall the app.
What happens after pairing?
Your band starts syncing health data to the app automatically and tracks continuously in the background, so there's nothing else to set up. See the Health Tracking section of the help centre to understand your data.
