What sports and activities can I track with my HLTH band?
Sports and Workout Tracking on the HLTH Band
Your HLTH Band tracks your workouts as well as your everyday activity. Using the Sports Record feature in the QWatch Pro app, you can log more than 150 activities, from running and swimming to strength training, dance and ball sports.
How to start tracking a workout
- Open the QWatch Pro app
- Go to Health/Data > Sports Record > Go!
- Choose a category and select your activity
- Start the session before you begin exercising, and stop it when you've finished
Every session records your duration, heart rate and estimated calories burned.
⚠️ Important: Sports Record only tracks workouts while a session is running. If you forget to start one, your workout will still count towards your daily activity, but it won't be saved as a separate session.
Can't find your sport? Choose the closest match or a general exercise mode. It will still record your heart rate, duration and calories.
What Each Activity Tracks
Running and walking: Your HLTH Band doesn't have built-in GPS. Instead, it uses your phone's GPS through the QWatch Pro app to add distance and pace. Keep your phone with you, and make sure location access is turned on for QWatch Pro in your phone's settings.
Cycling: Records ride duration, heart rate and estimated calories. [If distance is tracked via phone GPS, add: "Keep your phone with you to add distance."]
Swimming: Your band is rated IP68 and is safe for swimming up to 10 metres deep for up to 1 hour. A swim is recorded as one session with duration, heart rate and estimated calories. It doesn't count laps or pool lengths.
Gym workouts: Records duration, heart rate and calories. Your band can't tell different workout types apart on its own, so choose Strength Training or the closest matching mode before you start.
Water safety: Avoid diving and high-pressure water, such as water jets or high-speed water sports. After swimming or showering, make sure the charging contacts are completely dry before charging.
Sports That Don't Allow Wrist Wear
Some sports, such as gymnastics and combat sports, don't allow anything worn on the wrists. For these, you can move the sensor into our Sport Knit Arm Band and wear it on your upper arm. It will keep tracking as long as the sensor stays flat and secure against your skin.
Syncing to Other Apps
Apple Health (iPhone): Heart rate, steps and sleep can sync to Apple Health. Blood pressure, HRV, blood oxygen and stress readings stay in the QWatch Pro app.
Strava and Apple Fitness: Workout sessions such as runs, rides and swims don't currently sync to Strava or Apple Fitness. They're saved in the QWatch Pro app.
Tips for Accurate Tracking
- Start and stop Sports Record at the beginning and end of your workout
- Choose the mode that best matches your activity
- Keep your phone nearby, with location turned on, for running distance and pace
- Wear your band snugly. If it moves during intense exercise, tighten the strap.
- For sports that don't allow wrist wear, use the Sport Knit Arm Band
