Sleep Tracking Troubleshooting Guide
If your sleep is missing or doesn't look right, this guide will help. Most sleep issues come down to fit, battery or syncing.
First question: is your sleep missing, or does it look wrong?
If a night is missing completely
Step 1 — Sync the app. Open the QWatch Pro app in the morning and let it sync. Your sleep may be waiting on the band.
Step 2 — Check the battery. If the band ran out of charge during the night, it can't record your sleep. The battery lasts up to 30 days per charge, so keep an eye on it and top it up before it runs low.
Step 3 — Were you wearing it? It's easy to leave the band off after charging or showering. Put it on before bed.
Step 4 — Check the connection. If the band hasn't been connecting to the app, see [My Band Won't Connect to the App].
If your sleep looks wrong
Step 1 — Tighten the band slightly at night. The band needs good skin contact all night. If you wear it loosely during the day, tighten it a little before bed.
Step 2 — Give it a few nights. The band detects sleep from your movement and heart rate. It gets better at reading your patterns after several nights of consistent wear.
Step 3 — Look at the week, not one night. One odd night is normal. Your weekly trend is more meaningful.
Common scenarios and what they mean
"It says I slept less than I did"
Restless sleep or tossing and turning can look like being awake. A loose band can also lose contact during the night.
"It says I was asleep when I was awake"
Lying very still in bed, like reading, watching TV or scrolling, can look like sleep. This is common with all sleep trackers.
"My sleep stages look wrong"
Sleep stages are estimated from movement and heart rate. They are not as precise as a clinical sleep study. Focus on trends across the week.
"It doesn't match my other device"
Every tracker estimates sleep differently. Numbers won't match exactly.
"Can I edit my sleep time?"
[Confirm whether QWatch Pro allows editing sleep or bedtimes.]
