Sports & Workout Tracking Troubleshooting Guide
If a workout is missing or doesn't look right, work through these steps.
Step 1 — Did you start Sports Record?
Workouts are only recorded when you start a session. To start one:
- Open the QWatch Pro app
- Go to Health/Data > Sports Record > Go!
- Choose your activity
- Start before you begin and stop when you finish
If you forget to start a session, the workout is still counted in your daily activity but won't show as a separate workout.
Step 2 — For running distance and pace, bring your phone
The band doesn't have GPS. It uses your phone's GPS through the QWatch Pro app. Keep your phone with you during runs.
Step 3 — Wear it snug during workouts
If the band shifts during intense movement, heart rate readings will be less accurate. Tighten the strap, or try the bicep strap for weights, boxing or other activities with lots of wrist movement.
Common scenarios and what they mean
"My workout isn't in Strava or Apple Fitness"
Sports Record sessions don't currently sync to Strava or Apple Fitness. They stay in the QWatch Pro app. Steps do sync to Apple Health.
"My swim didn't count laps"
The band records a swim as one session with duration, heart rate and calories. It doesn't count laps or lengths.
"My run has no distance"
Your phone probably wasn't with you, or location access is turned off for QWatch Pro. Check your phone's location settings.
"Heart rate was wrong during my workout"
See [Heart Rate Troubleshooting Guide], especially the section on exercise.
"My gym class is showing as the wrong activity"
The band can't tell class types apart automatically. Choose the closest mode, like Strength Training, before you start.
